Olalekan Balogun

Chief Technology Officer

Olalekan Balogun is an Educator and Environmental Scientist with over ten years of teaching and research experience in physical geography, peatland carbon science and climate change. He holds a PhD. in Climatology (York University, Canada), along with an M.Sc. (York University, Canada) and a B.Sc. (University of Ibadan, Nigeria) in Physical Geography. Olalekan’s doctoral research focused on the climatic changes in wind patterns, temperature and surface energy balance over the Subarctic region of Canada and the long-term response of the northern peatland carbon reservoir to global warming. He has presented his research findings at various international conferences and has published several papers in reputable peer-reviewed scientific journals. Presently, Olalekan is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Physics at the University of Toronto. Funded by the Canadian Space Agency, his research is centred on understanding how satellite measurements of carbon monoxide can constrain Boreal Forest fire emissions and improve chemical transport and fire emissions models. In addition, he aims to help reduce the uncertainty in Canada’s anthropogenic methane emissions in urban areas. Olalekan is a vibrant, optimistic, and compassionate teacher and mentor who is deeply committed to advancing education in developing countries and supporting charities that provide financial and mentorship assistance to youths. He greatly admires the impactful initiatives undertaken by MT Scholarship and considers himself privileged to be part of this incredible team.

UX and Data Architect

Junayed Sadi is a highly skilled professional in the field of UX (User Experience) and Data Architecture. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, he brings valuable insights and innovative solutions to the design and development of user-centric digital experiences.

Having gained several years of experience, Junayed has worked on numerous projects across various industries, including technology, finance, healthcare, and e-commerce. He has a deep understanding of user behavior, interaction patterns, and industry best practices, which allows him to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that enhance user satisfaction and drive business growth.

Junayed’s journey in the field of UX began with his passion for understanding human behavior and his strong problem-solving abilities. He possesses a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset, which enables him to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights.

As a Data Architect, Junayed excels in designing and implementing robust data infrastructures that enable efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis. He possesses a deep understanding of data modeling, database management systems, and data integration techniques. Junayed is skilled in leveraging data visualization tools and techniques to present complex information in a visually appealing and understandable manner, empowering stakeholders to make informed decisions.

Aside from his technical skills, Junayed is an excellent communicator and collaborator.
